Tokugawaen, the site of the feudal Owari Tokugawa family mansion, is a major daimyo garden with a pond in its center, displaying beautiful greenery and flowers matched to each of the four seasons. The adjacent Tokugawa Art Museum possesses numerous treasures of the Tokugawa family including swords, tea ceremony utensils, and the National Treasure, the Illustrated Handscroll of The Tale of Genji.
