Osu Kannon Temple & Osu Shopping District

Osu Kannon Temple, originally located in Osu village in Mino province (Current Gifu prefecture), was moved to its current location by shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa in 1612. Osu Shopping District, developed as its temple town, is today one of Japan's major shopping malls. Its energetic mix of traditional culture to the latest trends makes it a place of choice for the young to the elderly.
